Muskoka awaits!
If you tuned into our social content last week, you may have seen our trip up to Bala for our second annual Style Camp and fashion show at Jack & Stella. We spent 4 days immersed in the sunshine and clear water while reconnecting, testing out products and putting together fabulous dock runway-ready looks.
The cottage was set up with all of the summer-style essentials including a linen button-up for lounging on the dock, disposable cameras and custom Style Camp ballcaps.
We started the day by heading to Jack & Stella to plan out our Fashion Show looks, grabbed an iced coffee while we were there and stopped at the grocery store to grab charcuterie essentials before heading back to the cottage. To give us our summertime glow we had our friends at Tan On The Run stop by for spray tans followed by our team’s favourite easy, go-to meal—Costco lasagna (trust us, it’s amazing). We prepped our Fashion Show notes and hit the hay.
After Don’s Bakery apple fritters on the dock, Wednesday morning we headed back to Jack & Stella for our model fitting. We met so many incredible women and had the best time finding each of them a look they felt amazing in! Once we had all of the outfits sorted and ready to go for the show, we headed back to the cottage to enjoy an afternoon in the sun, jumped on the boat and watched the sunset lakeside.
Due to rainy weather, we had to push the Jack & Stella Fashion Show to Friday which opened up our Thursday. We spent the morning in our Abode PJ’s and pop of colour Ellie Mae socks (which are both extremely soft and cozy), tested out the L’Oréal eye serum and did light makeup with the Beauty Counter tinted moisturizer and L’Oréal Voluminous mascara. We then headed outside and took photos of a few of our favourite DSG pieces (See and shop these items in the latest guide available here) before the storm rolled in. After that, we lit our Lohn candle and settled inside to read our fashion oracles and bead necklaces, bracelets and anklets inspired by these beaded pieces we’ve been seeing everywhere: ANINE BING necklace, Sydney Evans necklace, NIALAYA necklace, Fraiser Sterling choker. Once the rain cleared, we ate dinner lakeside!
Finally, show day arrived and with cooperating weather on our side, we headed over to Jack & Stella to get everything ready. The dock was lined with Muskoka chairs, guests began arriving and light bites and drinks were served. Each model strode down the runway with confidence and after the show, we shopped with guests at Stella’s Closet (shop the pieces here). We finished off the day with big smiles, happy hearts and raised a glass of rosé to the success of the week!
