JC Team Short Shop

Short shopping is quite the adventure, often one we don’t particularly look forward to at the beginning of the season. We have a few theories as to why…is it the paleness of our legs after a long 2 seasons away from the sun? Is it the poor lighting in change rooms? Is it the sweaty stress of pulling shorts on and off? Sound familiar? Here are our tips to conquering the short shopping challenge with ease:

  1. Prep your legs. Whether it’s moisturizing, shaving or a layer of self-tanner, we recommend showing your legs a little love before you shop. Here is our favourite self tanner we rely on!
  2. Not sure what size to try? Take in 2. Avoid the awkward moments waiting for a different size and go in with options you can switch in and out of quickly.
  3. Lastly don’t be afraid to get advice, ask a senior style associate to recommend a short that will achieve the fit and look you are going for. Having a second opinion can also lead to finding out which styles others have been loving and discovering new denim you never imagined yourself pulling off!

To go the extra mile, we’ve started your short shopping homework for you and have entered into the H&M and Aritzia change rooms to try on all kinds of shorts to find the top styles we’re loving. Scroll to see the styles from these two retailers that made it into our carts below!
