It’s surreal to think that just one year ago, Erin Leydon and I launched the Portraits With Impact event with the hope of selling out 15 spots. 1 year later we have helped 65 women achieve portraits with impact as well as celebrate them through some very exciting events, the PWI Alumni Dinner and the PWI Sip N’ Shop event.
Portraits With Impact is more than just a portrait event (See a video of a PWI Day here). Over the last year we’ve built a community of women who have ambitious plans, meaningful purposes and big goals. To better serve this community, it was very exciting for us to be able to partner with Valentino Beauty this year as our title sponsor. When I spoke with Alaia, the director of marketing at Valentino Beauty – she explained that the brand was about the celebration of self-expression. Valentino welcomes all beauties and is made for everyone who wants to embrace their own uniqueness. This resonated with me because at Portraits with Impact, we focus on helping every woman fall in love with themselves and believe that their uniqueness is their best asset. I couldn’t think of a better partner for the events.
We were also thrilled to collaborate with The Kit as our media partner – they gave us a platform to help more women feel empowered by an impactful portrait. Read The Kit’s coverage of the PWI Events here. And to S.G.Cunningham – a female owned construction company who loves supporting women who are breaking boundaries. All of these companies contributed to making the evening possible.
