One of my favourite things to happen recently in the fashion industry in terms of comfort and style was the rise of sneakers in mainstream fashion. As a Toronto stylist, my days (before social distancing) usually involved running around the Eaton Centre, meeting with clients, working on set and being on my feet practically all day. Being a stylist also means that looking professional and my best at all times is an essential part of my job.

In the fashion industry we are beginning to see professional and casual dressing mix. A key element to successfully combining the two? Sneakers. These shoes are now being paired not only with workout gear but clothes like a great pant suit or a romantic dress.
